Spring Kale Salad

Kathleen Mason

We have all seen popularized salads go viral and it can seem like a bleh recipe idea but this one is really a gem. You know something is a hit when the most complimented item on a dinner menu is a leafy green. Try this recipe out and see for yourself - its a delicious way to get in some extra veggies!

Almond Citrus Cake

Kathleen MasonComment

Rarely do I riff on a recipe where all the stars align - the end result is delicious and I wrote down what I did. This post features a delicious almond citrus cake that is light, fluffy, flavorful, and very forgiving. Top with a glaze, or not, slice and freeze for later, or eat right out of the pan - just enjoy!

We had our kick-off Community Dinner and we are thrilled that it was a hit!

Find photos of the evening above and featured recipes linked below:

Joanna Gaines Pot Roast - A delicious recipe that warms you to the core and couldn’t be simpler.

Suggestion: Serve with a bright salad with a zippy vinaigrette, pecorino and pickled red onions.

Outrageous Garlic Bread - Ina Garten routinely blows me away but this recipe takes the cake. (not pictured)

Suggestion: Serve warm in a bowl for communal sharing to get conversation going.

Decadent Fudgy Brownies - This dessert is my favorite kind: chocolatey.

Suggestion: Serve warm and topped with lightly sweetened whipped cream.

Community Dinners is a quarterly event hosted with a homemade meal had among friends and friends of friends. These dinners aim to create community between all the guests and end with full bellies and hearts.
